Each time a miner successfully mines a block they are rewarded with newly issued Bitcoin, commonly referred to as the block subsidy. Miners also earn the transaction fees for all of the transactions included in the block. Together, block subsidies and transaction fees make up the miners' revenue. The all-time, cumulative miner revenue is often called the “thermocap,” and is calculated by taking the running sum of daily miner revenue in USD.

The miner capitalization is equal to the sum of balances of all mining entities multiplied by the price of that day. A mining entity is an address that receives newly issued supply or transaction fees.

The calculation for mCTC is then simply: MinerCap/ThermoCap.

 Bitcoin Stock-To-Flow Model 

The Stock to Flow (S2F) Ratio is defined as the total Bitcoin supply divided by the flow of annual newly issued Bitcoin. It assumes that since Bitcoin is a deflationary asset, its scarcity will increase the value. Since Bitcoin's future supply and issuance is reasonably predictable, we can extrapolate this model to make future price predictions.

The S2F deflection is simply the price of Bitcoin divided by the S2F price. It is then a measure of how far the S2F ratio deviates from the current price.

Michael Saylor is one of Bitcoin’s most prominent figures. He’s well known for being one of the most bullish people in the world - possibly even Bitcoin’s biggest permabull. His company, Microstrategy, has just completed yet another massive purchase of BTC, bringing its total holdings to 279,420 BTC. Who knows, that number could be even higher by the time this goes out.

Recently, MicroStrategy announced a major part of its roadmap to expand its massive BTC reserve, and to say this is a bullish development would be an understatement. The so-called “21/21 Plan” could be a key catalyst to push up not only its MSTR stock price, but also the price of BTC. You might recall that this is exactly what happened back in 2020.

US Plot to Take Down Stablecoins Exposed!

The Treasury Department is reportedly targeting Tether, the issuer of the USDT stablecoin. This could be catastrophic for the crypto markets, because almost everything trades against USDT. 


Of course, the Treasury Department doesn’t like the fact that it can’t control stablecoins like USDT, and in a summary of a recent presentation, it revealed that it wants to replace stablecoins with CBDCs. 


This begs the question of what could happen to the crypto market if there was a Tether crackdown. Today’s video has the answers. Spoiler alert: Tether could in fact be too big to fail. Enjoy!
